As the sun’s still shining so are the happy faces of our traders. Always pleased to see you each weekend with their delicious, fresh products. This weekend we have Boureki returning with their delicious authentic Cypriot foods. Iberian Deli have some fantastic olive oil that is definitely worth checking out and Marsh Farm Produce are on hand to provide you with fresh meat and vegetables to see you through the week.
Sophie from Boureki is making a welcomed return to The Sidings this Sunday with a delicious spread of authentic Cypriot foods. Come along and try her home made aubergine stuffed with meat pine nuts and chilly. She will also be making a traditional feta and spinach pie, traditional haricot beans with home made pickled octopus, Kites (which are delicious Cypriot meatballs) and the usual boureki with halloumi and Amari. Buy some to eat straight away or to take home and enjoy with the family.
Iberian Deli not only sell some delicious Iberian meats but they have now started to stock Almazara Olive Oil. Its a cold pressed extra virgin oil that’s created from a selection of different olives like Manzanilla Cacerena, Gordal, Manzanilla Prieta and Picual. These olives are collected, selected and pressed on the same day to avoid any fermentation. The mixtures of these olives gives this oil a unique personality. It is a well bodies oil with herbaceous aromas and other ripe fruits, especially sweet bananas. Its slightly bitter and medium spicy to the palette. It’s available to sample this Sunday.
Marsh Farm are at The Sidings every Sunday bringing you an array of fabulous meats. Come along this weekend and see the great selection of fruit and vegetables they also have available for you. You’ll find all your key ingredients for your weekly dinner plans so come along and fill up your shopping bags with great cuts of meat and delicious fresh veggies!
Davina’s Spice Kitchen
On Sunday Davina will be spicing things up with two curries, Chicken Tikka Masala and a delicious Chickpea Curry. They will both be served with long grain basmati rice and a tomato and cucumber relish. both home made and delicious – both are perfect to take home and enjoy. She will also have her vegetable samosas and spiced lamb and potato rolls. Great for a starter with drinks.
So come along on Sunday and try, sample and buy some of the tastiest foods available locally.
