This Sunday we have a market packed full of amazing traders, some of which are brand new to The Sidings or are making a welcomed return after a Christmas break!  You can check out a great range of craft beers from our newest addition ‘Craftycanz’ or check out the rare Jellies available from our much loved ‘Mary’s Jam’s, Jellies and Honey’.  Our onsite Creperie have a delicious new offering for you in the lead up to Pancake Day and this weekend will be the last Sunday trade for Davina’s Spice Kitchen until the middle of April so make sure to visit her and stock up on your favourite Indian Cuisine while you can.  This Sunday is not to be missed!

Come along and check out our brand new trader selling a fantastic selection of craft beers.  See what Graham from Craftycanz has to say about his business;-

Craftycanz is a new business with an online shop at craftycanz.com bringing new and exciting craft beers as well as a solid core range. The business was started as a result of us firstly being passionate about craft beer which in our minds tastes like beer should taste and also the lack locally of any decent retail outlets.  As well as people being able to find us at The Sidings we do offer free delivery in the local area from our website and of course we can put orders together for customers to collect from our stall – Graham @ Craftycanz

Mary’s Jams, Jellies and Honey

Mary will be back at The Sidings this Sunday with her vast selection of delicious homemade preserves.  One of the jelly preserves for sale will be her tasty Medlar Jelly.  Medlar were better known many years ago than they are today. This may be because Medlar trees became very large in size, so are not suited for small moderns gardens. It belongs to the rose family and is a native to South Eastern Europe but is quite well known in Britain. It has a unique taste and goes well with cold meats and cheeses but especially paired with mature cheddar.  Medlar jelly is very rarely available to purchase in stores so make the most of Mary’s supplies and grab a taste of this unique product this Sunday!

A selection of other Jellies available will include; Crab apple, Quince, Redcurrant and Bramble
Some of the Jams available will include; Gooseberry, Blackcurrant, Damson and Apple/blackberry

Mary’s honey is direct from her local apiary.  The honey was extracted late last summer and has a good mix of spring and summer floral nectar.  A lot of Mary’s customers say it helps with their hay fever so why not stock up before the pollen is upon us.

Louis and Mikey’s Creperie

In the lead up to Shrove Tuesday Louis and Mikey have introduced a brand new pancake.  Come along this Sunday and try their amazing Ricotta Hot Cakes.  A delicious American Diner style pancake served with a scrumptious homemade honeycomb butter, drizzled with maple syrup and then presented to you with your choice of fresh fruit. This is a truly delicious breakfast….. or lunch!

Davina’s Spice Kitchen

Davina will be taking a break from trading after this Sunday and will not return until the middle of April so for those of you among us that find her food irrisitable……..this Sunday will be your last chance to stock up!

For her final Sunday, she will be making a delicious, healthy (but yummy) spiced chicken and vegetable soup served with a fresh buttered roll.

Davina will also have her chicken and vegetable rolls, lamb and potato rolls and vegetable samosas.  As it’s her last weekend until 23rd April, customers are able to stock up on these items already frozen so that they can fry them up when they want in the comfort of their own homes.  All you have to do is place an order with Davina before Friday 17th February so she can bring them along to The Sidings this weekend ready for you to collect.

Davina’s contact number for placing orders is 07899 656 996 for text messages or a call.  Alternatively you can email on davinaspicekitchen@gmail.com

Thank you to all my customers for their support and I shall be returning with some more delicious Indian dishes on Sunday 23rd April – Davina
