Carmelo also has a vegetarian version Paella made containing, onions, garlic, tomatos, mushrooms, olives, rice and long green beans. Make sure you have room in your bellies so you can come along and have a feast!

My name is Peter Terblanche and I come from Durban in South Africa where my Grandfather first taught me how to make Biltong at Christmas.  I’m Really looking forward to being at The Sidings this Sunday to share this delicious treat with my fellow carnivores!

Flavours will range from pepper and coriander, chilli, garlic and secret spice.
Biltong is an air dried meat that takes 3-5 days to cure and will then last for a good month or two, it is obviously high in protein and really addictive, it is served sliced and is predominantly eaten as a snack. I will have a variety of flavours including pepper, and coriander, chilli, garlic and secret spice! – look forward to meeting you all, Peter.

Marias Tea Cakes

This Sunday Maria will be unveiling a brand new kiddie section to her pitch which will be filled with delicious treats like mini cakes, mallow pops and smiley face biscuits, so come along and treat your little one this weekend.  Maria doesn’t forget us grown ups either, she will be busy this week baking her popular melt in the mouth rhubarb cake and some tasty Florentines.
