Uma will be bringing home made Gujarati bean and lentil curries to The Sidings this Sunday, along with her versatile Gujarati cooking sauce.  All you need to do is add any vegetables of your choosing to her homemade sauce to create a scrumptious vegetarian curry, perfect for the whole family to enjoy with rice or breads.

Uma’s creations are a great base for a number of homemade meals.  They can be used to create an authentic Indian meal, they can be added to any meat dish and enjoyed with rice, or, try mixing it with pasta to create a tasty Arrabbiata!

Enjoy sampling the delights of Uma’s stall this weekend!

Oil and Vinegar

If you like spicy dipper oil or flavoring, then the Dipper Tuscany Blend is a must try for you! Mix a teaspoon of the dipper herbs with three tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil for a delightful dip with a baguette or grissini.

However, these dippers are extremely versatile. How about marinating a whole chicken – straight from the oven – or a grilled steak? Mix the spice blend with olive oil for this and allow it to absorb the herbs. For a surprising effect, use the Dipper Tuscany Blend on potatoes, eggs or savory pancakes. A dressing is also made infinitely more Italian if you just add this Tuscany Blend to your vinegar and olive oil.

Also available in the ‘Dipper’ range is Rosmarino which is a mix of rosemary, garlic, parsley and celery or Sicilia, a mix of oregano, paprika, onion, garlic and thyme.  There is a flavour to suit all tastes so come along and try them all this Sunday.  With their versatility they are definitely a great buy!

Come along and grab some fabulous produce from The Sidings this Sunday and enjoy some of our great onsite entertainment whilst you shop.
