A Visit to The Sidings N21
(with apologies to Clement Clarke Moore)
‘Twas the last Sunday before Christmas and all through Winchmore Hill,
There was no worrying about food, everyone was just chill.
The market was opened by the station at 9,
So even St Nicholas could get his shopping just fine.
With home made pies, meat rich in jelly;
Sausage inna bun and bacon rolls in his belly.
The holiday spirit joins the usual amazing local food this week at The Sidings N21 with the addition of Mulled Wine and Spiced Sake (Toso) to our amazing range of foods, both hot and ready to eat, as well as fresh and ready to take home to cook.
We will have hot Toasties, Bacon rolls (with incredible fresh bacon) and some incredible Sausages whose smell alone will make you salivate. Put them in a bun with some toppings and sauce and you have a snack fit for a king (or at least a minor potentate).
The Sausages are also available to buy so you can take them home and everyone at your Christmas dinner can get a sumptuous starter that will whet their appetites for the feast that will be to come.
Incredibly fresh fruit and vegetables for your plates, fresh meat, game and poultry for your table and some of the most amazing, freshly made pies for your stomach, all from local farmers, growers and chefs. Ask the incredibly knowledgeable sellers for advice on the best way to prepare these wonderful ingredients.
You can even get some of those essential, Christmas finishing touches at The Sidings N21 with a Chocolatier for your guests and Organic Dog Biscuits for your beloved pets.
On their last visits selling at The Sidings N21, both the Organic Dog Biscuits and the hand-made pies both sold out very quickly so be sure to get there early to avoid disappointment.
We can’t wait to see everyone there for our last pre-Christmas market.
